MembershipPlease join us if you are interested in dancing Filipino Folk Dance. We are a Filipino Folk Dance Troupe and non-profit organization, originally established May of 1999, has ceased operations in 2004. Having taken a leave-of-involvement for a while, Mr. Lawrence Pascua continues to be dedicated to the perpetuation of the Filipino Culture through the dances and songs of the Philippines. We currently are building a corp of dancers who are interested in tour-performances, learning, public and community service, teaching leadership and values to our youth, and having a whole lot of fun in the process. Current plans which are now in action is a branch group for special performances, not only to entertain, but to culturally enrich our local community, called, "La Galeria." We are now scouting for members to form this new group. Please call (808) 250-5330 or email FilDance@yahoo.com for registration. |
Our ResolveTo perpetuate the Filipino culture and to enable its members to gain and promote a better understanding and appreciation of it. To learn basic steps in folk dancing thereby translating movements into an accurate interpretation as is viewed by those who should be observing the dances. To develop poise, personality and professionality in each member's character, thereby reaching out and giving people who share our cultural heritage, something in which they can be proud of. Meet our friends from New Zealand and Honolulu; Mr. H. Wayne Mendoza, and Philippine Cultural Group of Hawaii who have similar goals as we do! |
RatesRenewed rates will be published upon the readiness of our newly formed learners group, "La Galeria," for special performances.
